Overview

Cadence Sports handles logistics and supplies equipment for some of the nation’s largest cause-driven endurance events, including Ironman and Pelotonia. Their previous website didn’t capture the full value Cadence Sports brings or match the expectations of their high-profile clientele. Endurance events are dynamic and require extensive planning, and the website needed to reflect this energy and professionalism. Built on Webflow, the new website now offers an engaging experience that aligns with the Cadence Sports brand through rich media, micro-animations, and enhanced functionality.

Goals
  1. To elevate the website's aesthetic and content presentation, high-quality event photography was used throughout, with imagery and custom graphics thoughtfully aligned with the content on each page. Subtle micro-animations add a dynamic touch, making the information more engaging and lively. The homepage delivers a clear message about Cadence Sports' services, their clientele, and their reliability. Additionally, the light/dark mode toggle, while not essential, reflects Cadence Sports' attention to creating a customer-focused experience.
  2. To enhance content and improve the information architecture, we replaced the original lightbox gallery with an interactive Case Studies section. Projects are now organized by category and feature dedicated detail pages, providing Cadence Sports with ample space to showcase their work. New content pages, including "Approach," "Who We Are," "Careers," and "Press," were added to reinforce trust and convey the company’s core values.
Before therapy

A homepage—and, ideally, every content page—should follow a strategic communication framework to be effective. A strong design adheres to a proven formula.

Without a clear headline and subhead, users are left watching the video without an understanding of what the company actually does. While the testimonial block is intended to build trust, it falls short here because users aren’t yet sure what services they’d be trusting the company with. Similarly, while the values wheel graphic is visually appealing, it doesn’t provide potential customers with the information they need to make an informed decision at this stage of their journey.
